  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

How far do you drive to work?

I'd transfer to another store, but the one I work at now is only a little less than fifteen minutes drive away. Back roads, no highway driving. On nice days I have even walked to work, (about 40 minutes). For a change of scenery, i would not mind working at another store, but the certain one I would pick, is about 45 minutes (driving distance) away.......;)

About 20 minutes each way, but a friend just got transferred to my office and we're neighbors so i'll probably start carpooling.

45 minutes with traffic...about 35 without traffic and going faster than normal

Wow some long commutes.
I guess I live in ND.. I can get to work in about 5-10 minutes, depending on 'traffic'.. or whether or not I hit all the red lights.

To work...only 5 minutes. For sex...that's another story.

Counting the time I get in my car and pull into the parking lot, about 5 minutes. Counting the time I walk from my car to my desk, about 10 minutes, lol.

You need one of these from your car to your desk:

Believe it or not, we use to have something similar called a chariot, it has 3 wheels lol, but thru some BS, we were not allowed on them until we clocked in on our PC at our desk, then we are allowed to ride.

14 miles, which is far less than most other times in my life (for example, my High School was 35 miles away and an hour long bus ride).

I can make it from door to door in 20 minutes if traffic is light, have to leave 45 minutes early during certain times of the day. :(
