I used to think I was a good cook, until we moved into our current place a with a thousand year old stove and oven. Now I burn just about everything I make. Luckily my roommate is a chef, and he's more than happy to cook for me :)

I'm not too bad in the kitchen.Am I a master chef? No.But I'm pretty decent.I'm best at baking, but I'm also very good at southern comfort and Italian, and I know a couple of German recipes as well.I can't,however, cook Mexican food, fry anything outside of oven frying, and I'm not that great at bbq either.

...Wow.That made me sound like the worst Texan ever.

I'm known for being the only guy in my circle of friends who can actually cook something other than bbq or on a grill.I'm most known among my friends and family for my desserts and pastries, but if you want to talk about actual food then my specialty dish is Blackened Chicken Alfredo.

Cooking is one of those weird things where I have a pretty good talent for it, but I don't really enjoy doing it. I mean, I can follow a recipe with ease, and I love to modify them afterward, and I've even invented dishes by experimenting with ingredients; I make a bangin' peach cobbler that wins awards at pot-lucks, I think my fried egg sandwiches can't be beat (except by my grilled cheese sandwiches), I discovered that marinating scallops in ruby grapefruit juice and white Worcestershire is fucking amazing, I do a mean black-and-blue steak on the skillet, and have made vegetable medleys en vinaigrette that cause gastronomic orgasms...

But there's not much fun in it. Every once in a while, yeah, and I do enjoy whipping up something to amaze and delight, but it palls quickly. Like dancing, after a while it's just work. I much prefer to eat someone else's cooking.

I wouldn't consider myself a chef by any standards but I can definitely cook a meal.

I guess I need a bf who knows how to cook...

I love food, and I love cooking

combined with the fact that my mom is a great cook, I must say I am really good.

I've been trying to learn to make better cocktails recently, but my specialty is Puerto Rican food, I make great stuff from scratch.

I am not a great baker though, all I can make consistently good is flan.

I consider myself a pretty good cook. My bf can hardly boil water.
A good friend said once that I can make a box of Rice-A-Roni seem goumet.
I don't think I have any real specialty. If I have something good in a resturant, I will sometimes try to duplicate it. If I feel creatve I have over 200 cookbooks to play with.
I don't really care for fast food either.
I'm not much of a baker either. Some people are good cooks and lousy bakers, some are good bakers and lousy cooks.
