How I Met Your Mother

......dary.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Neil has a good body but Ted is the hottest, IMO. I wanna bang him so bad. Marshall is OK but he's gotten fetter recently. He was hotter when the show began.

All in all, the show kicks ass. It is one of two good comedies left on American TV these days. Modern Family is the other one.

^^ agree..Ted is geeky hot! I love his dorky-ness lol...but my favorite character in this show is Robin..

I don't think any of the male leads are attractive.

I started watching because of Willow () and ended up becoming because of Robins story lines.

I just watch it for Doogie eye candy. Lol

I've always loved NPH. . . but I think Ted (Josh Radnor) is GORgeous! I would SOOO love to make love to him!

This season wasn't the best, but it was OK. Can't wait for the season finale! It's going to be langendary!

Are you talking about the smoking episode. Because if I remember correctly they never specifically said that the two had a son with each other... it was just implied. At least from what I can remember.... I could wrong though. I mean I certainly hope they don't break up but I feel like it's been hinted at a little bit.

Plus more Robin Sparkles!!!! I can't wait!!!!!!!!!:gogirl:(!)

Yeah...they never technically said that it was Lily's son as well....but they do grow old together as seen in the episode where they write letters to each other for when either one dies.

My friends have told me that I need to start watching this..
I think I'll give it a go! :-)

Ah, I must have missed that episode. There are a few here and there I haven't seen. Do you know what season is that in? Sounds like a good episode.

umm...I would say that it was last season (not this past season but the one before it [Season 3?] )

just looked it up....S3 Ep2.....Robyn is still dating Gael

I find Ted cute as well. He has his moments where I think he looks reeeaaalllyy good.

Oh and by the way, Fluxxx, that picture of Michael Buble looks hottt! At least I think that's Buble. If not, I just made a fool of myself.

I thought I'd revive this thread, rather than start a new one. I only started watching in the past few weeks and raced through all the seasons in a short period.

Love the show. Love the continuity. I love how funny and how true to life the show can be all at once.

Now that it's approaching the end...who does everyone think should (or will) be cast to play the mother?

Also - does NPH age at all?!

Robin's dad! (but he's not the singer)

I love the song and video, but it's no 'Let's Go To The Mall'.....

They recently cast casey Wilson for the finale, but I doubt she is the mother, I bet they will cast the mother for the Season 9 premiere other than Season 8 finale. The show is definitely past its prime, but I still love it, I hope they can pull of a satisfying final season. The Final Page was a brilliant episode, so while most episodes are indeed hit and miss, they can still pull of great episodes with a ton of heart, and it is still one of the most satisfying sitcoms on air for rewarding you for watching the entire series.

CBS wants the cast to sign on for Season 10 now. Bet we see "Mother" in the finale at a distance with everyone from the show on gag order as to who the actress is.

PC Reply: I have never understood the appeal of this "comedy."

Gut Reaction: The dumbest, stupidest, most boring "sitcom" ever to darken the doors of CBS...one of the few comedies on its network that is not witty nor smart. Jason Segel and Neil Patrick Harris should just go away. They make Adam Sandler watchable and nostalgic!

Carry on!

Now, I would never consider HIMYM witty or smart, but to act like any other CBS comedy is witty or smart is laughable. Nothing on CBS is in any way creative or witty, they are stuck in the past with their multi-camera and painful laugh tracks, and HIMYM has heart, which is what more CBS sitcoms are seriously lacking.

Pardon the confusion, I guess I failed to mention I find all but one of its current comedies odious (Woo-hoo 2 broke girls.) When I was dogging "How I Met..." I was comparing it to the history of well-crafted CBS shows of yesteryear. "Murphy Brown" "Becker" "MASH" "The Nanny" not to mention the awesome '70s series I've only seen on syndication or Nick at nite, orig. aired by CBS: "All in the Family," "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," "Maude," etc. Maybe I'm just nostalgic for smart comedies that weren't gimmicky like "Seinfeld" and other modern sitcoms till now.

...soooo...the finale has aired, the big reveal has occurred...

How does everyone feel?

Let's not post any spoilers... even though it's all over the interwebs...

I was mixed because I was glad at what they revealed but sad we didn't get to see the wedding. Hopefully next season.
