I would say not more important than love, but it is still very important.

I think it's important but it shouldn't be a major focus of a relationship. If you find your soul mate then you stuck with each other for a long time! :) Well sex is great....you both have to work to keep that roof over your head. No matter how much love you have for each other, there will be sometimes where one partner just doesn't want it. If you can't deal with that then the relationship isn't going to last.

Just my thoughts. Also I think as we get older the emphasis on sex, sex and more sex shifts and we look for somebody to settle down with.

But what do I know! I'm just a canuck! :D

Sex is not the most important in a relationship---unless you are not getting any---

I am not in a relationship and not getting any--:D

Anybody with a real grasp of things knows that being a Canuck is where it's at.

Amen in to that my fellow Canuck! :D

As I have said, a certain anti depressant has lowered my drive, but I have my moments

But what do I know! I'm just a canuck!
I replied to the question so I could address this signature. Screwnutty, you are knocking your own country. If you were American, people would be all over you.

You make us sound like second class citizens. Or "what do I know. Im just a girl" Your signature is a slap in the face to all Canadians. Our country has alot to offer
(step down from soapbox)

Nah - dissing America is fun. We do it all the time.

LOL

Oh man. First off you don't know me and second if you did, you would have gotten the joke like the pianist did. Course it is the internet and it's hard to tell what somebody is really feeling when they type a phrase. But i can assure you that I wasn't acting like "i'm just a dumb Canadian...blah blah blah!". That phrase and had you actually heard me say it instead of seeing me type it...you would have picked up a hint....just a hint of me being arrogant! :) I'm Canadian. I'm from the best freaking country in the world and well i may be over taxed to death at some points in my life. I love my country because it's run usually by clear thinking people. No disrespect for my American Neighbours but i feel so sorry for them. Being gay and raised in the states is one thing...but being born and having to pay for your own healthcare is just horrible. There's nothing right about there government style in my eyes. There's nothing right at how the religious right runs the country down there. I don't like harper. I think he's a moron....but i thank my lucky stars everday I get up that we are not run like the states.

Now you got some fight in you kid and I like the cut of your jig! That took balls to stand up for our country ..| I like you! :D anyways I'm getting off my soapbox....can't take heights too well. get nervous and such. Yes...I have a fear of heights! Sue me! :p

Given that a relationship is about 20% sex, I would say it's important but not everything. There is much more to having a successful relationship than just sex. The sex is really the icing on the cake.

Somewhere in between breathing and eating.

Unless you're talking about sexual intercourse (some people seem to think that's the only kind), which I rate somewhere between curing world hunger and discovering cold fission... certainly worthwhile things to do, but not bloody likely anytime soon.

as i'm not getting any?

no. it isn't that important.

:(
