Interesting to note that the $8000 computer I bought that same year had less processing power and memory than the phone I carry today.
 
I believe I got my first cell phone in 1995 or 96. Motorola Teletac. I thought it was the greatest thing ever.

This was an indestructible little bastard. Seriously, I used to hurl it at my mates just for laughs. I wish phones were still that tough these days.
