How long did it take for you to accept this side of the fence?

Still struggling.....don't know why....maybe I haven't found the right person to make me think otherwise?
 
I don't think I have fully accepted it, and don't know if I ever will. I've been conflicted about it since about age 12 and I'm in my late thirties now. It's not easy to sort out.
 
When I turned 30 I decided to accept the fact that I liked guys and not girls. I called myself bisexual up until then but that was more denial than anything else. After that I met my boyfriend and we've been together over 8 years.
 
It took me about 4 years.

I had a lot of trobule, but in the long run I knew that I liked guys and girls and that nothing could change it.
 
...Two years. Not yet ready to disclose to the 'rents, but I tell everyone else. ...Luckily I haven't been gang raped. Very common occurence for gays and bis at my school. *shivers* I'd prefer my first time to be voluntary.
 
a few years...I was only 12 at the time of discovering my bisexuality...but now im out to everyone except a few family members who dont need to know anything xD
