  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

How long has it been since you went to the doctor?

Years and years. I think I was 16.

It's about time I went I guess

About six years.

I'm not even entirely sure who my doctor is any more.

And to be honest, I'm unlikely to find out unless I'm in immenant danger of dropping dead

Not been for just over 10 years. Which reminds me I must inform them I've moved.#-o

Too Often...... #-o :( ](*,)
(I had made a Thread about my absences here........this thread isn't about what ails us - so I'll leave it at that).
For those of you who don't go on a regular basis - if you enjoy living - I would start going NOW!! IF there is anything wrong with you, it is much better to find it early than to find it late. I do not have any Health Insurance either - but I would rather enjoy life for as many years as possible.

Which one?

Twice a week.

Once a month.

Once every three months and or as needed.

You are not "old".

I see the doctor every week because I have allergy shots.

Its been a couple of months. I don't go for a regular checkups, but then I am around doctors all the time and do a lot to check up on my own health such as my blood pressure (which is high, and I went in for an appointment when that appeared). Otherwise I would go in once yearly for a checkup.

I went to a dermatologist about 4 years ago. I have not had a general checkup since I was around 14 years old. I have health insurance, I just have not had any reason to use it, thank goodness.

I practically lived at the doctors office as a kid... asthma attacks every spring, tonsils removed, sleep doctors, broken ankle/arm, and when I was a toddler I overdosed on anti-nausea pills I am told :)... one time I caught a very weird disease and had several doctors baffled...

Now that I am older I havent had to go see a doctor in a while and im perfectly healthy.

Free health care in Canada!! :p
