Just when we thought the tone of the political discourse couldn't get any lower, Limbaugh asserts that angry blacks have all along been hatching a 30yr master plan to train black children as militants. ACORN, of course, is part of this nefarious America-hating scheme. *cue ominous music*

What's sad about this is that, while there is much focus on the not so subtle racebaiting by McCain/Palin in recent rallies, few in the Media seem to really be talking about the prime mover in the gleefully racist turn the election has taken: Right Wing Talk Radio. Why is it they can get away with saying such things on radio that would never fly on television? Is it time to revisit those regulations? Some might argue that it's a freedom of speech issue, but is the violence that hatespeech foments different than any other kind of "domestic terrorism"?

Still, I hope you are right. I don't mean to be ageist at all, but sometimes I feel it is a generational thing. That's not to say that there aren't cool older people (this board alone is home to some cool ones) as well as hateful younger people.
