  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

How long is your daily commute?

An hour and a half, door to office. that's car to train station-train to ferry-ferry to Manhattan-walk to subway-subway to Brooklyn-walk to office! Reverse and go home. At least I get a nap on the boat and I don't have to deal with NY traffic.

It was 18 minutes door to door, which was adequate, and I currently think I'm nuts for spending 14 minutes driving and then 14 on the train.

It used to be about an hour each way including driving, parking, waiting and taking the train, and walking, but I am retired now.

For work: 15-17 minutes

For places like Walmart, Target, Kohl's, Pier 1, Chili's, etc.: 3-4 minutes

10 minutes drive to the surgery, if i am on house calls i can spend a few hours going from home to home.

about 4 minutes.

Or 1 hour walking.

15 minutes door to door as I live in the heart of the City of London where the Financial District is. When I lived in New Jersey it was closer to an hour into Wall Street!

It's about a 40 minute drive to work and 40 minutes back.

I wish I had a job where I could work from home.

Currently about 30 minutes to get there by car and 30 more to get back. I can beat the record if I want
