  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

How long will you live?

If I add up the ages my grandparents lived to and divide by four I get 82 years. That's probably just as reliable and I've saved myself £400.

Millenniums. I don't want to die or get old. Am delusional like that:D

Hopefully not for too much longer.

I've already lived longer than all but one of the male members of my family, on both my mother' side and on my father's side.

Long enough.

And 400 quid for this test? Puhleeze

It proves George Carlin correct: "Nail together two things that have never been nailed together before and some schmuck will buy it."

Then maybe it's time to change and start living the way you want to live life.

I'm not sure that's even possible. If it is, it would be too difficult, cost too much, and the chance of success would be less than that of hitting the lottery jackpot.

It's too late for anything like that to happen at my age. I'm just hoping the world really does end this Saturday...

You're 49 years old, you can still make a change in your life even if you are becoming middle age. I get this feeling that when you hit 50 you will think your life is over. Many people make changes in their life at a late age. If you feel like not wanting to make the effort to change you shouldn't complain about it. Just saying.

I can't make friends but you don't see many always posting about how lonely my life is do you? I go out and make the change instead of sitting there getting upset about it.

I'm already alive longer than I thought I would be, so I'm ahead of the game...

50 is only a few weeks away. I've thought my life was over for many years now, probably about 30+ anyway. I did, at least, used to have a bit of hope for the future, now even that's gone entirely.

I have no idea how to change anything about my life at this point. I think it's way too late. Many of the things I'd like to change are physically impossible, they cannot be changed, neither do I think I can learn to be happy accepting them. I haven't been able to in all these years.

basically, I'm just sick and tired of being sick and tired. That's why I hope the world does end Saturday, I won't have to feel like this. I won't have to be sick and tired of being sad, lonely, and unhappy any longer...

"If I'd have known I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself. "

One of my Best Friends, Michael, says that.

I'm going to live until I die .

My grandparents lived into their high 80's and one was 96.
Dad was nearly 94 --

all of this doesn't mean shit at the end of the day.

Let's make a new rule for BirdDog - that guys under 6 inches live at least 10 years longer than guys over 6 inches. there -- that's done. .......

I hit 60 last October. However, unless I do something Stupid, like looking in a mirror, or skipping a few stairs, my "Inner Guy" still thinks I'm in my mid, to late, 20's! (!) :slap:

Given my Family's general longevity, and my history of shrugging off infections, disease, etc., and even considering my continued smoking (of tobacco), I think I'm likely to be living much longer than I would wish! :help:

I do agree with the sentiment of being Alive vs. "Living"! That is, indeed, a very relevant point!

There have been times when I've thought that "Ending IT Now" would be a tremendous Favor to those around me, and myself. HOWEVER, my innate Curiosity has generally been winning out, and I want to stick around just to see how it might all play out! :-<

I've been doing the "saving thing" (401K), and thinking about "The Future". However, in the mean time, I can't exactly say I've been "Living"! #-o

My entire existence has been about "What's the Point?". Maybe I should be thinking about "What's the Point, NOW?" \:/

Everything considered, I'm doing pretty Good! Not, by any means, GREAT, but O.K. ..|

Should I continue to be concerned with "what might Be"? OR ... Should I realign my perspective along the lines of "what Is"?

I've heard it said that, "We are all Spiritual Beings enjoying a Temporary Physical Existence" SO ... If it's all coming to an end, eventually, why not stick around to see the end of the story? \:/

How much longer will I still be "Here"? Who knows? Butt, maybe I should take more stock in what is happening NOW! (group)

Of course ... no matter what ... and this is meant Sincerely ...

Keep smilin'!!(*8*)
Chaz :luv:
