I have to admit that with the countries I was singing the Animaniacs "Nations of the World" song

Re: How many countries/colors can you name in 5 mi

I memorized the Animaniacs recitation of the countries of the world.

Sometimes I run through the US states to check the progress of senility.

Re: How many countries/colors can you name in 5 mi

I can only name one coloured country - Greenland.

How about Ivory Coast
Gold Coast (although I think that has changed its name now)

That quiz was a bit annoying. No England, Scotland, Wales? They should change it so it takes your answer when you press return. When I am typing fast, I look at the keys not the screen so I ended up with englandwalesscotlandaustralianewzealandmoroccokenyathailandfrancegermany before I realised what I'd done. grrr.

Only got 34. Will have to try again.

82 this time.

I could however take on 20 5-year-olds in a fight. Cool. Bring it on munchkins!

No England, Scotland, Wales?

Though the United Kingdom was apparently a country! If it wasn't then I guess according to the website I would be living in France.

I got a pitiful 23 colours and 31 countries!

Re: How many countries/colors can you name in 5 mi

115 countries.

And a pitiful 26 colours.

A lot of the countries in the list, are not countries at all. Since when is Antarctica a country? Same with Palmyra Atoll, and Christmas Island.

87 countries, and I didn't try the colors.

I thought they'd have some kind of graph showing the distribution of correct numbers.

I was entirely uneven, remembering goofy stuff like Djibouti, Bhutan and Belize, but not Chile, the United States (!!), South Africa and Finland.

Certainly their list includes a lot of stuff that are not NATIONS, or not even always recognized as colonies or dependencies. I think quite possibly it's a list of places currently considered by AMATEUR RADIO OPERATORS, to be countries.

I didn't look close enough, are Alaska and Hawai'i on the list? Those are considered "countries" to radio hams.
