With a guy who's "29, attractive, single, and has a great personality" and been sexually active with a lot of different men I'd be more concerned about his honesty about STDs, like genital warts that stays in your system and is contageous even if the warts aren't visible (and you can get a nasty case of them that could take years to deal with), than if he's been with 40 guys or 400.
Telling someone, "I've had genital warts" is not a turn-on so way too many attractive men with great personalities don't tell prospective sex partners when they've had it.
