How many jubbers buy "Store Brand"food items

Yeah, as said above it just depends what the item is...

Basic stuff like sugar, cooking oil and bottled water...I'll buy the store brand 'cause there really is NO difference.

Same for frozen and canned veggies.

BUT.

Store brand soda ? Heavens for fend !! Store brand tea and coffee ?? Kill me now !

Name brands for laundry soap, spices, butter, chips, cereal, etc.

Sometimes you just have to try the store brand to see if it sucks, or not... If I'm gonna have the empty calories, I want a Twinkie, not a Twonkie. [-X

You mean cornhole oil? Nothing but the best for my bum.

Don't you mean bunghole?

I do. I think the 365 brand at Whole Foods is pretty good.

Just last week I tried some fried potatoes from the 365 brand. I didn't like them at all. I'll stick with Cascadian Farms or Alexa.

I would never buy generic mayo or tarter sauce. I won't buy cheap cat litter.

I'm pretty picky, and stick to natural and organic choices, when possible.

I'll never shop at Lidl again. I bought a box of 6 cereal bars (not their brand but some European brand that only sells through Lidl).

It was sweetened by maltitol. Having one bar doesn't seem to fill you up, so I had a couple, and it worked it's magic on me. I had the shits, coz maltitol is a laxative. Never again.

We have Morrisons and Tescos fairly close to us (within walking distance, if a mile and a half is walking distance). Both stock their own brands of chocolate digestives which I like.

Tesco's Puffed Rice is awful. I'd get Kellogg's Snap Crackle and Pop instead.

Some store brand crisps are ok, but I've not bought any in yonks.

I hardy ever by branded food...I generally buy whatever is the cheapest..which means tesco value for meals/confectionery ...Lidl for meat and the central market for veggies and fish

Whats wrong with T.V. dinners? :p

whats wrong with dollar store water balloons and vegetable oil?

:grrr::grrr::grrr::grrr:

Call me trash, but when I don't have money, I'll do some Publix store brand stuff. Even their sodas...except for Cherry Coke. Can't skimp on that.

We have just started getting into the whole organic thing.......|

Thats what happened with some of the store brand crackers and cookies A&P has.

that's right. go and cater to the rich and famous. what do you care about the common folk who cannot afford organic frozen t.v. dinners. Baron of Wall Street.:grrr::grrr:
