SIgh... the faster we type, the more prone we are to repeated movement injuries in our hands and fingers.

I can manage around the 60 mark. Found that it is faster on a computer as you don't have to worry about going back and having to do it all again.(!)
 
My keyboarding skills suck. I had to change the class in high school to no credit or I would have failed and not been able to go to college. I am fast, but after they subtract the errors there is nothing left. I should have gotten better since I work on a computer all day long but it is probably worse as I go at full speed and let spell check fix it.

I type much more quickly when I'm not copying someone else's words.
 
I was up to around 75 wpm when I started developing carpal tunnel syndrome. Switched to Dvorak, and now I'm up to 80 or 90, depending on the day.

i never really learned to type, i escaped it during high school, i just type for fun & i really never thought to learn it, i might still never.so...

that whole sentence was done in a minute...
