How many kids came to your door trick-or-treating tonight?

None thank goodness,though there were a couple roaming the streets .... it is not encouraged. A few kids in my class went out last year and said that they would not do it again because so many people abused them and slammed doors in their faces .... people they know who are normally quite placid.

Our school actively discourages it also as so many parents complain ... generally by the same ones who won't let their kids see or read Harry Potter.

Even though it didn't originate in America, many see it as further Americanisation and object to it on that reason alone.... then go to Mc Donalds for dinner with the kids. Go figure.
 
We had one, so we gave him lots of candy. I was surprised they allowed kids to trick or treat since storm cleanup isn't anywhere near done.
 
ok, what a pisser... i decorated, few black lights, strobe light, weird lights inisde the house, candles, you know, spookiness. We had *drumroll* TWO kids. After 8pm i was so disgusted i called some friends over to watch a scary movie and enjoy my decorations. At least we had a lot of candy to eat.
 
Bought candy for 50, allowing for adequate taste testing, we were totally out of candy and kids before 8. We're in a new neighborhood with younger kids being taken door to door by some very hot daddies.
