Welcome to JUB, August56. To answer your question on frequency people masturbate would be difficult, because each person is different. Sex drives and sexual fulfillment play a role, so what may seem to be too much for one person may not be for others.

I would say that you might have a problem or addiction if you masturbate so frequently that you can not function without doing so or if you have ever missed an important meeting, deadline etc. solely because of masturbation.

If that is you in your avatar, I'm surprised it's only once a day. I should think you'd be good for a few times a day at least. I'm 55 years old and I still try for once per day. I don't always succeed, though. I'm not as young as I used to be. ;)

Should you do it less? Why would you want to? Masturbation is one of the best things to be addicted to, so just keep on keepin' on.
 
It's only too much if it interferes with other aspects of your life. Once a day is perfectly normal,even more if you so desire.

Usually once a day...however, I am usually more turned on the following day after sex and jo 2 to 3.
 
I would say at least once a day I HAVE TO JERK iT. I usually am so hard and horny when I wake up that I will jerk off before I go to work otherwise I would be a really really horny all day.
