How many times have you fallen in love?

Valentine's day is coming, so out of curiosity I am making this poll

Are you in love with someone? Do you share your life with him? Have you been in love before?

Personally, I don't know if you can fall in love with someone who you don't know (I've seen and talked to a few men while walking in the street and it was like love at first sight. I still think of them but I'm not sure I would like them as a person, and above all, they are most likely not gay lol).
So, officially, I have fallen in love only once.

See I could have SWORN to you and anyone and everyone, at age 18, that I loved my best friend, that he truly was everything and all there was in my life and that I LOVED him more than anything etc. etc. etc. etc....

Nearly 20 years later, I look back on it as a desperate mad teenage crush, as me offloading all my emotions onto him, all control and responsibility for my life was transferred onto him. It was not love, however much I thought it was.

So the answer is never.

But that doesn't mean I'm not deeply fond and affectionate of some guys, in particular one whom I see every week, but since (a) it's non-reciprocal and (b) he's straight, it's a complete non-starter.
