I'm basically a Conservative guy.. yep, a gay Conservative.. And I do vote Republican on the national level (democratic on the local level)..
Glenn Beck is a throw back to the 50's conservatives... The guy is not all that smart.
He does have some OK ideas.. but he is just not all that in tune with the things that should be done now days.. meaning that our country does need a new direction... and yep, I do understand his wanting to go back the the Founding Fathers and the ideas they had of a Republic, but he is so far behind the times..
I must admit though that I don't really like his personality.. yeah, I know that is a rather cheap thing to say, one should not shoot the messenger for his looks, his presentation, etc.. but I cannot stand the guy.
He is much like the Fox News guy Shawn Hannity.. very shallow in his analysis, very shallow in his thinking.. hell Newt Gingrich has more smarts than Hannity and Beck together.
