FWIW, I think that living comfortably would mean having the basic necessary things that would ensure a decent living.

There will always be those who have more or less than we do; to compare ourselves to them is pointless and will leave us either vain or bitter. Neither is a flattering look.

In all honesty, I could earn $70,000 US a year and live (for all intents and purposes) comfortably.

To live happily, I'd have to bottom for Pete at least once.

Money doesn't change people, it provides a more accurate reflection of who they really are on the inside.

Many wealthy people choose to donate the vast majority of their money to philanthropic causes because they have no use for it. Others buy insanely useless shit and spend the money like it's going to vanish into thin air if they don't spend it quickly enough.

As for love? I don't even know you, so your money ( or lack of it) are abstract and mean nothing to me. I like your sense of humor and I enjoyed several of your posts. I have fun joking around with you and you seem like a nice guy. I'll be adding you to my buddy list, FYI.

If you were homeless, it really wouldn't matter and if you needed a place to crash I would offer you a place to stay.

let's be overly optimistic and say that I live to the age of 90... assuming this is all after taxes, 3 million would give me $50K/year or $4,000 and change/month which would be more than enough to live comfortably.
