How much money that you want to have to live comfortably?

hmmmm If were talking lottery I would say I would want at least 10 million... Enough to buy things I want and my family and friends stuff.. and invest enough to keep my living costs:)

but salary wise I want 110k a year...but would settle for 70+

i love it............gay people without all the attitude. wow.

You could live very comfortably on 100k a year. I'm 28, if I lived to 100 that would be 72 more years, so 7,200,000, round it off to 10 million cos of inflation.

Lets said i just graduated college and was ready to be out on my own i'll be happy with 10 million enough to move to another state buy a house pay it off. Buy a big giant gas guzzling Truck and a car.

God forbid if i lose my job or something i'll still be able to live happily

Omg, the pragmatism

It's so sexy :luv:

This is totally how I feel. I just want enough to afford a decent pad in downtown Vancouver. I'm pretty minimalistic.

Ha ha good luck. Vancouver has one of the most expensive housing prices.

So it is for this reason that I think $10 million dollars should suffice. Have no clue how much $ a year I'd want though.

After taxes?

I think $1 million would work well...very well.

I'd use about 1/3 of it in a lump sum which would buy me things like a retirement move (and I guess that kind of wealth would make it easier to retire to Canada, which I'd probably try first), the other 2/3 would go into some kind of guaranteed lifetime interest-bearing annuity.

My investment of it would be extremely conservative.

Do you mean per year or a lump sum? Per year, six figures after taxes and malpractice insurance.

As long as I have enough money for a packet of fags, I don't care.

As long as I have enough money for food, shelter and a few perk items, I don't need a massive amount of money.

A few years ago I had a good job making nearly $70K a year. I was very comfortable. If I could return to that pay level, I would be very thankful.
