How Often Do You Bathe/Shower?

Washing hair everyday may not be good for your hair.

I have heard that it dries out your hair - if you've got longer hair, but I have less than 1/4 inch of hair on top and less than 1/8 on the sides and back. I'm really just shampooing my scalp. Since I wash my face, chest, stomach, crotch, pits, & legs everyday (all with some hair on 'em), I'm probably ok to shampoo my head everyday, too.

ok... surely everyone baths once a day , atleast!! its just decent to be clean and fresh ... if not for yourself... then for the people around you !! :O)

Every day!

OMG - it should be a rule that if you bathe less than that you should be banned from here!

Daily and depending on what activities I have done during the day, more often.

Every morning. More than anything it's to wash my hair--I still have very oily hair. If I go two days, I feel like I'm a ball of grease.

Assuming no exhausting sweaty activities, about once every two days. During fencing season, we have practice monday through thursday, so I shower afte rpractice, but during the winter, we have it monday, wednesday, and friday, so I shower on those days after practice.

once a day, I should do it twice (because I walk home at 1200) but I don't. I love shower, the problem is that I love to much and lose too much time in it xD.

A friend once tell me how in france they actually bath twice a week. O_o

Used to take a bath or shower only once or twice a week, and didn't smell... Unless you're doing a lot of active stuff every day and sweat a lot it's not totally necessary.

Lately though I'm having a bath almost every day (sometimes twice a day), more for relaxation than anything else. I don't currently have a shower in my house, just the bath, but we're having a second bathroom put in which will have a shower. Once that is ready I will probably alternate showers/baths because a shower is a more efficient use of water/better for the environment etc. and can be just as relaxing imo.

I shower every other day! Unless other activities require more often.

I shower everyday at night (usually before I sleep)! I feel icky if I don't.

I shower every morning, and if I have an event/date/special hook-up, I'll pop in for a quick freshen-up.

:-)

If I have my way, I shower every morning AND bathe every night.

What dry skin problem?

Lex

I shower every other day, more or less... more if it's hot and I get sweaty or if I'm going out somewhere and have to look nice, less if I'm not doing anything but loafing around the house or I oversleep and have to skip it in exchange for getting to work on time. I'm not a very smelly person, even when I do sweat, and my hair doesn't get oily, so it's not an issue.

I take baths every once in a while, usually when I want to pamper myself or I'm depressed. I like to soak in hot soapy water for about an hour with an olive-oil lotion in my hair and an self-heating fruit masque my face, then scrub all over with a loofah (and my soles with a pumice stone and my face with a complexion brush) to get all the dead skin cells off, then shower and moisturize, and then cut my nails and floss my teeth. After all that, I feel fabulous.

Anyone else have trouble with both oily and dry skin, espiecially on their head and face?

OMg! yes! I shower every morning, and at night when I'm going out. I have parts that are oily and dry. but I address the oily more than the dry. Any tips would be great!
