How often do you check your mail?

What mail? You mean email or the letter box? Email once daily and the mail I get at my office since there have been some "issues" out at the box . Or do you mean on here? Messages just pop up here so there's no need to check. Forum comments I check once a week.

Whenever it arrives, I like to see how much money I have to pay out at the beginning of the month.

I’m the opposite. It’s one of the reasons I’m so lazy with checking it.

Nope. It's not far, but far enough that my knee usually acts up before I get back in the door.

We collect, and sort, our "snail mail", onto the kitchen counter, everyday that some drops through the slot into our (enclosed) front porch.

I'm not sure what "My" Kev does with his, but I pile mine up on my table/desk, next to my computer. I'll open it at the end of the week, unless something "interesting" catches my eye. About half of it goes into the recycle bin without even being opened.

So ... I guess my answer would be that I check my mail four times a month, and file it according to "due date", which I write on the envelope, along with the amount due.

I'm sure you can guess that (these days) my "snail mail" is mostly ads and bills!

All the IMPORTANT mail is electronic now! And, that, including JUB stuff, is checked at least twice a day! And, even more often than that at work!

yeah i am too and this is about as often as i check. unless it's near the second week of the month when my new maximum PC magazine usually shows up. then i check daily until i get it

Every day of course !! I'm always annoyed that the 'other' side of the street gets their mail before Noon - and we have to wait until at least 3:30 - sometimes later - and when I'm expecting a check - i hate that i have to wait yet another day to cash it !

At least three times a week, when business is slow and I'm in town all week - Monday, Wednesday, Friday are the "default schedule" for me. On very rare occasions I'll do only Tuesday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday.

Usually 4 or 5 days per week, though. RARELY Saturdays.

It involves more than just walking outside to a mail box, because one of the first things I did when moving here was to remove my mail box. Everything goes to the P. O. box. The last thing I wanted was credit card offers and such, sitting out in an unsupervised box - even if only for 3 or 4 hours.

As for the regular mails...I receive none, so no need to check. Yet.

It's on the far end of the building so I check it almost every day. If I am going out I use that side of the building to leave so I can check it. If I take out the garbage which is on that side I do the same.
