How Often Do You Get A Hair Cut?

I was thinking about this today
When I left school I did the normal rebellion thing of refusing to get my hair cut
If I remember rightly I went about 3 years without a haircut

About every 3 months. 2 months overdue because of the broken leg. Finally able to walk and get on with life.

About every six weeks or so.

I do understand those who get it cut weekly. Some styles, like a fade, need that to stay crisp.

I remember during the most severe of the COVID19 lockdowns, the daily closures of barbers and hairdressers was always the top news item in Australia. There were heart palpitations, anxiety and depression throughout the population.

I had no heart palpitations, anxiety and depression till there was talk of closing take-out liquor stores.

But back to the question - a couple of times a week, with a Remington 5-head cordless razor at any quiet moment.

Every 3 weeks. My hair is short but I can still comb or brush it into position. If I go 4 weeks than a "cowlick" or whirl (as my hair stylist calls it) sticks up and annoys the shit out of me. I don't know how noticable it really is to others. The main reason I keep my hair short is because my hair gets oily after 24 hours. Before I retired, I shampooed everyday so the oil was not a problem. But now that I'm retired I shampoo every other day until I have a special event to go to. But I'm not complaining too much...I'm getting close to 70 have still have my hair! My Dad still has his hair, so no doubt that is where I got that good hair gene from.

Every two to three months, if I need it or not,

I cut off about six inches of my braid once a year.

Once a fortnight. This suits me as I'm a biker & long hair in a helmet simply doesn't work for me.
