How often do you get your hair cut?

I haven't had a haircut in 3 years... A work college has his hair cut every two weeks.

So how about you?
 
I try to get it cut every 4 weeks. It's gotten too thin to let it go any longer than that.
 
I think it's been two years since I last visited my hair stylist, whom I met at a gay wrestling club in WeHo. I like him, but he likes to cut my hair too short, and so I prefer to cut it myself. I use two mirrors (one is a portable standing mirror), and I have left-handed scissors, which I use with my left hand for the left side of my head. It took a bit of practice to become ambidextrous, but I'm fairly proficient at it by now.

I don't keep track of how often I cut it myself, but it grows faster in the summer. I trim it whenever I feel like it.

The thing to do would be have a standing appointment right?

maybe 4 weeks in the summer - 6 in the fall/winter?

my hair gets long in the summer - but still no standing appointment

I'm wearing it short on the sides, longer on the top - got it cut in P-Town last week - probably 5-6 weeks after the last one

but right now it's all last minute "oops need a cut"

ever have to let go of a guy who does ur hair? it's just like the seinfeld episode

I used to get it cut fairly short (grade 4) and let it grow out until it was pretty shaggy, which took about 12 weeks. This was mainly because I couldn't be bothered to go for a haircut until I really really needed one.

Now I'm a little more finicky so I don't get it cut as short, and don't let it grow too unmanageable - so about every 6 weeks.

Yes I have. Tried to talk me into styles I wasn't comfortable with every time I went. I hate long hair on myself and stop trying to convince me otherwise!

I don't have a problem with that - what I hate is breaking in new ones. I had a BF in San Francisco who was a hair stylist, and he told me (when we were together) that he wanted to take care of my hair forever. However, we somehow drifted apart, and then he moved to NY or Hawaii, and I felt abandoned. I don't look good with extremely short hair, and so it was important for me to have a good stylist. I had another friend that I used to visit in Vancouver who is a stylist, and he would do my hair every day before I went out, but that was when I had spikes. Hairdressers make the best roommates, IMO.
 
Whenever I get around to doing it myself with one of those comb-like things with the razor blades in it. I haven't been to a barber since my panic attacks began back in the 80's.

It depends on how long my hair is. When it was buzzed really short, I just did it myself every week or so. It's kind of shaggy right now and I'm feeling picky about it so I'll wait until I see my aunt next month because she already knows how I want it. I can cut the front, but not the back and I don't want to try and explain it to a new hairdresser. We'll see if I can wait until next month, though...
 
I never cut my hair. I like to wear it long. I do trim my facial hair though.
 
every 5 weeks when I had a real job-- now about every 6-8 or if I have an interview!! Pray for more haircuts -- cuz that means I'm working.
 
I don't have any clue. I think it's every two months or so. I just go "ugh, it's too long", go to the barber (a block away), and have him cut it. He's quite good, but he's gotta kind of a mouth on him. He spends roughly half the time talking about how he "wants to get him some good pussy". I just go, "uh-huh".

I had him shave my face once. He was rough as a motherfucker with that razor, but Jesus, I looked good when he was done. :)
