I shave my balls smooth every 3 or 4 days. I trim the pubes when they start getting unkempt, about every 2 o3 weeks. My pubes are thinning out naturally as I get older.

Since I don't have any sexual partner / action I trim down all the way to the skin (but not a shave with a blade) whenever the pubes start catching and pulling on the various body parts. I never did have dark pubes so they never looked "neat." So that would be every many many weeks.
