D: I used to wash my car like every two weeks when I lived at home but then when I moved out I just haven't had anywhere to actually wash it since I can't garage it and wax it and stuff.

I seriously hand wash my car from bumper to bumper and it looks amazing, can't wait to wash it again.

I wash mine probably once every other week or so when the weather is nice. Right now, it's been a couple of months just because of Winter. I like to keep mine looking good.

I never have to wash mine...when I bought it I paid dearly for a special wax to be applied...All it needs to do is rain and it washes clean and shines nicely

I wash mine as often as i can - the dudes at the wash are FINE eye candy!

In the winter every couple of weeks thru the carwash. In good weather usually every week. I have it professionally detailed every spring. :-)

I don't really see the point. It's just going to get dirty again.

That is a silly excuse. You wash your car to keep it pretty.

Why go to sleep? You will just get tired again the next day.
Why go to work? You will just have to come back once you spend your money.
Why cut your hair? It will just keep growing.

A friend of mine owns a local car wash and I get a really good discount because of... well, I just get a good discount let's say...

So, I've become really lazy about washing it myself.

They do a much better job on the wheels and the leather than I ever would have the patience to, anyway...

at least every other week because the crap they put on the roads here in the winter eats chrome and paint so I like to keep it rinsed off so it doesn't start rusting out

I drive a soft top wrangler and you can't take those through mechanical car washes. I live in an apartment, so there's nowhere to do it! If I want to give it a wash, I have to drive to New Orleans (60 miles) to get it done at home. Before I moved away for college, I did it probably about once every two to three weeks.

Not too often.

Everytime I seem to wash it, it always rains the next day and gets dirty again.

The dirt keeps the rust together..

Dirt=Glue

Duct Tape also comes in road dirt colors. :D

Then there is my van, when I would wash it the paint would come off in even larger hunks than just on its own so it is a 'paint preservation' process...

Another Quality Product brought to you from Chrysler Corporation.....|

It is very dry and dusty here, so I just dust it off.

WAIT-- actually my answer should be when (if) it rains because the spots and mud won't dust off.

Usually wash it monthly, but during winter more often to wash the salt off.

I too don't see the point in washing (the outside of) my car. I clean the inside out frequently as that is the important part, the part of the car that actually affects me. I see the appeal of keeping your car nice looking depending on your car and if you're like.. a car person. I'm not a car person and drive a car that is older than I am.

It runs like a beast and the heat works, why ask for more? :D
