How old is your PC / Laptop?

I upgrade my computer regularly but it's all be done in the past year.

Power supply: 6 months
RAM: 4 months
Video card: 3 months
Case, CPU, Mobo: 2 months

My Macbook is 1 year old -- and it HAS to last for 4 more years to justify the extra cost (over a PC - which normally lasts 3 years)...

:):):)

My laptop is about 4 years old and still working pretty well, though it's slowing down a bit. I'll probably need to replace it in a year or so. I really want a Sony, but I think I'll end up with a Mac.

My MacBook just had it's one year birthday. I just got a new IBM Laptop at work, last week.

I have had really bad luck with PCs over the years. First one was an HP laptop and it died very unexpectedly after about 2 years (kept trying to re-boot itself over and over). Turned out to be a bad motherboard and therefor a lost cause. Second one I bought was a desktop from Gateway. I was fairly content with it, but after a llittle over a year it developed a big problem in that I could not get it to start-up at all one day. I took it into Geek Squad and after a week of diagnostics, it was determined that the motherboard went bad...another lost cause. This time I was able to at least "harvest" the hard drive and get at all my files and programs. Now I have a Dell XPS laptop (about 4 months old) and like it. No problems so far! (fingers crossed!)

Dell Inspiron Laptop (In chocolate brown... except it's not really chocolate) is about 6 months old.
My compaq presario desktop is about 3.5 years now. Plays sims 2 which my laptop doesn't so that's all I use it for.

My home PC is about six years old. My PC at work is about eight months old.

My laptop is about 3 yrs old. It's a HP Pavilion dv5000. One hard drive failure and that's it so far. (Although I did reinstall Windows a few times for maintenance.)

If I get a new laptop (in a few years or so), I would get a different brand and might be paying a bit more to get a better one. I'm too tech-naive back when I got this one. Oh well.

My laptop is 14 months old and my PC is a little more than 4 years old

I'm not sure, but it has a kerosene reservoir and a magneto crank.

I'm sure I've got one of these collecting dust somewhere!

Well, to keep up with the JUBBERs, I decided to upgrade today! I couldn't talk myself out of buying another Dell - they've been really good to me. Thought long and hard () about a Toshiba, but just couldn't do it.

The new addition is a Dell 17" Studio, with 2.16Mhz dual-core processors, 4GB of memory, a320 GB hard drive, a 17" LCD screen, built-in web cam, etc. The cool geeky part is the Biometric Fingerprint Reader (no more typing passwords!!) and the LED backlit keyboard. It's like the one I ordered for work a couple of months ago. I'm so excited! (!)

So much for saving my tax refund!

Coming up on five years. Ugh. I'm too cheap to get a new one. You know, one that doesn't overheat and shut off randomly, and one that can keep up with the fast pace of today's internetzz.

Dell laptop - 3 years 3 months old, and still working fine.

That is all. No desktop or other "COMPUTER-computer." (I mean, I have other computers inside things like the DirecTV, the printer, my car, etc. but I don't use those as I use an actual computer, of course...)

i have a mac. not sure how old.
it was given to me. it has a g3 processor so i guess its pretty old
