I have had the one I carry for about six years and it's really starting to fall apart--guess, it's time to get a new one.

Current one about 3 years and going strong, previous one lasted 6 years.

Don't own one. I hate carrying them and I don't see the need. What do people do with all those cards??

I can't imagine NOT carrying a wallet! Have had one in my back pocket since Jr. High School! And, though I'm right handed, my wallet has always been in my left back pocket.

The one I have now? Um ... maybe 4, or 5, yr. old, since my last one was lost/stolen. I tend to keep them until they are in tatters.

Keep smilin'!!(*8*)
Chaz ;)

To those who don't use them ... what do you do?? Carry your I.D. (license), cash and "plastic" loose??

Mine is actually going on 9 years! I bought it at Guess in 2000 and it's still looking good..... a little worn but fully intact!

I use a leather covered money clip, it has room for my drivers license and 3 credit cards. I have been using it for about a year now. I love it, it's small and doesn't take up a lot of room in my back pocket

I have a bunch of wallets and cycle them. They last longer that way. Same concept with shoes.

Wow! I've never even THOUGHT about this. But now that you mention it, I'm pretty sure this wallet is at least FIFTEEN years old.

And it's still stayed together.

And, furthermore, I'm pretty sure that I found it in one of those Dollar stores...

I use the wallet for money, and SOME official things (car registration, proof of insurance, and my health card ONLY). My Driver License, my plastic, and things like supermarket cards are kept in my shirt pocket instead, in a pocket protector and in the pockets of my checkbook.

I think that it is around 5 or 6 years old. And it does not have much wear to it. It was only around $20. I have friends that insist that the YSL wallets are far superior and last so much longer and that is why they are worth over $300.

I do admit that the letters are cute...but not $300 cute. ;)

My current wallet is about 5 years old.

My the previous wallet was about the same.

In the past 15 years or so, I have taken to liking Dockers Wallets. They last for a long time, and they always look good.

I buy them when they are on sale at JC Penney, Bon Ton, or Macy's (I think the wallet I am currently using came from Kaufmann's, before the big Macy's takeover).

Mine's 4 years old now. I bought it at El Corte Inglés in Madrid, Spain. It's made of really soft, plush Spanish leather. I've still got the "Fabricado en España" label that came with it. (Beats the heck out of a Made in China label!)

I somehow left it in my pants one day and ended up putting it through the wash. :grrr: The heat from the dryer wrinkled it a little bit, and took some of the softness away. A little of the stitching has come out at the slot where my driver's license goes, and I've had to repair it. Otherwise, very satisfied with it. It was a great buy!

Mine's a baby, not even a year old. It's the first one I've owned that doesn't bother me in any way; it's not too bulky, never slips out, and it has just the right amount of slots for stuff. It looks like dark black leather but in the right light it's a dark crimson.

Plus it still has that "new wallet" smell... Ahhh...

i have a DC shoes wallet. i actually didnt buy it. it was getting ready to be tossed from work. it had been laying in the lost and found for about 3 months so i claimed it. i have had it for about 2 years. as to how old it was before, i have no clue.

Mine belongs to my great uncle, my father's uncle and godfather, and was given to him by his grandfather. It was made in Paris in the belle epoque of the pre WWI period. So I would say that mine is between 90 and 100 years old.

Mine must be at least 10 years old. It's made of good leather and still mostly intact. It is broken in just how I like it, so I plan to keep it until it starts to fall apart.

My current one is exactly 6 days old, haha! - It was a gift! :D :luv:
The one I had before that, was with my for about 1 & 1/2 years, though..
And before that, I'd say about 9-10 years, easily.. I've only had 3 wallets..
