Totally out. My friends know, my family knows, and my co-workers know. I'm a bit in the public eye, and I don't hide it there, either. I can't say as I make sure to mention it at regular intervals, but when it comes up naturally (and it does), I'm comfortable talking about it. There are some casual acquaintances who might not know (like the mailman and the guy at work I only see once a week), but I certainly don't care if they know or not.

I am so far back into the closet, sunlight has to be pumped in. They kill people around here for being gay. Seriously!

I've always said that NC is better than SC...

I'm out to people I care about. I don't really care if my co-workers/cousins think I'm straight because I honestly don't care what they think.

Mostly out, I guess. I refuse to lie about it or hide it in any way, but I'm an extreme introvert, so I don't socialize with co-workers much. My family knows, but I haven't been in contact with them for a number of years, for unrelated reasons.

My supervisor at work knows b/c I casually mentioned my partner to her once (and I listed him on my emergency contact sheet). It was no big deal. It hasn't come up with anyone else (my job is seasonal, for a few months out of the year - my co-workers are mostly different every year).

I could write a WHOLE THESIS to the FOOLS out there that feel the need to live according to OTHERS...

Or...

I COULD quote Polonius's last piece of advice to his son Laertes...

But...

I'll just quote my friend Thynight instead...

:lol::lol::lol:

I have always found it odd that when others assume, then learn the truth, that people feel we were (or are) hiding something. They never think or feel that maybe they should just think in a more broaden way.
