How overdone is all that fuss about the death, funeral, etc. of The Queen Of The World?

Im fine about the funeral. I plan to record it. Aint no way Im getting up at 5 a.m. to watch it. I think people lining up more that . . . I think a reasonable time would be 2 hours . . . but I wouldnt line up 20 hours like David Beckham did.
Im glad it is over in the UK. They are probably saturated with it but we arent.
Just imagine if it was Donald Trump lol

As I wrote. Civilization

Preparing for an eventuality and planning for the future should be one of the attributes of a civilized society and its government. We see far too little of it these days in the USA both nationally and locally here in California and in particular in Los Angeles.

There are delays at National Health? What else is new?

Regarding the television coverage, I assume that but one BBC channel is primarily about the Queen. How many BBC channels are there? It's not as if there aren't other information and entertainment sources. I tuned in to BBC World News for 15 minutes, and it was 90% the Queen, 10% other matters: Japan preparing for the coming typhoon; riots in Haiti; the Ukranian war...and a news stream informing us that Lady Gaga was forced to cancel a concert due to a thunderstorm and other matters of singular importance. I don't know about the households of other participants in this Forum, but I gather my partner and I have hundreds of channels. Hundreds of choices to sit and watch if we have nothing better to do than sit and watch. Last I looked he's sitting and watching Roma v. Atalanta at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

Yeah, just like war anywhere but in The Western World.

Queen Elizabeth II is likewise same old boring but, at least, now she has done something new and different.
