  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

How tall are you?

Our two love birds, Seth and Jason, should report in. I can't be the only one here who wants to know how big they are.

5'10 (or about 1.8 meters for our non-US members)

I'm convinced that a medication I was on in my teens stunted my growth... it's the only explanation for the fact that I'm shorter than both of my parents (both mom and dad are over 6' tall), and it was later found to be a rare side effect.

I am 5'9", but I won't hold it against you two, even if I'd love to. (!)

I'm only (almost) 5'5", and I'd LOVE to hold "It" against Both of them, no discretion involved! (Preferably at the same time!) (!) (!w!) :-< (group)

Keep Smilin'!! (*8*)
Chaz :luv: :slap:

Used to be 6' even........now 5'11" so I'm hangin' in there very well....... (!)

I think the difference between my legs now is almost a half inch -- at least that's how much insert material I've put in my right shoe to make me walk level!

Hip surgery shouldn't make any difference between your legs. If THAT's half an inch out, you should sue.

Unless they're planning to 'do' the other hip soon and expect to get him matched up to where he once was.

Of course it will, when the hip is so deteriorated that it's lost not just all its cartilage but has been steadily flaking bone, which in turn has been causing the other leg to adjust. They don't adjust the repaired hip to the existing hip, they set it where it should be as a healthy hip.

I'd wondered for quite some time why my right foot insisted on turning outward sharply when I walk -- turns out that's just part of what my body has been doing because of the deterioration in the other hip.

Soon, no, but it's inevitable: the cartilage in the other hip is in very bad shape, and the same sort of flaking from the top of the femur is starting to show.

Once both have been done, I'll actually be the height shown on my driver's license once again.
