how to convert picture file .cr2 ??

hi guys, i have some pictures in .cr2 file, how do i convert it to jpeg or tiff? thanks guys!
 
Take a look at this - .CR2 is a camera RAW image format, for Canons. There's a "Software support" section that might help you out. I use GIMP for many graphical things (but not this purpose, so can't vouch for it).
 
together with your camera you should have gotten a software by canon that can deal with this.
 
i didnt take the pictures, my friend gave them to me on a disk so i could edit them but i downloaded reaconverter 5.5 pro and it would only let me convert 5 pictures!

i also downloaded raw therapee v2.4 but it wont let me open the files, so i dont know what to do

"You don't know what to do"? Heh, WTF? Why not try the advice I gave you and give GIMP a whirl. :)
