Can't find this in the Tutorials, so I'm asking.

Say I want to use the words slippery slope in a sentence but want to embed a link to

http://www.nizkor.org/features/fallacies/slippery-slope.html

so that by clicking on slippery slope the user will be carried to the linked site.

This way I do not interrupt the text with a url.

How do I do it?

Does the embed automatically show up in blue?

Thanks. I am no techno wiz

Mark the text (slippery slope) and press the link button above the text box (world globe with a chain link), enter the URL in the popup.

testing

RESULT: created shortcut, highlighted "testing," pressed icon and got pop-up, entered shortcut.

GOT ABOVE BUT DOESN'T TAKE ME TO LINK

(M1000 also is having trouble)

it worked fine. your link is just missing the : after the http
