How to find & date a military man?? (Pls help)

Hi everyone,

So as you all know, "Don't ask Don't tell" (DADT) has bee repealed, allowing gay men to serve openly in the US military.

I've found that I'm really attracted to men who are serving (or previously served) in the military -- whether it's the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marines. I just myself attracted to men who are REALLY masculine, beefy (athletic or muscular), and definitely not "fem".

I'm also attracted to police officers & firefighters....

How am I supposed to find my military man?? Or policeman or fireman?

Almost all of the military men, police men & firemen I come across are straight Is there some place where all of the gay military men or gay police/firemen hang out? And what should I say to them? I just get sooo nervous

I am fooling around with a marine right now. I don't really know what to tell you honestly, I am in so it is easy. But if you do live around a military base, they do go to the local gay clubs and stuff so that is your best bet. It's easy to spot a marine usually, their haircuts are usually very...well marine.

Be careful though, a lot of them aren't really out of the closet or are their looking for girls sometimes. I took two of my straight marine friends with me to a gay bar, and they had fun but I had to end up playing boyfriend for one to get their creepy guy off of him and we almost got into a bar fight with the guy.

Whatdo you say to them? Same thing you say to any guy you want to get with. I would caution against immediately saying how much you appreciate the sacrifice of all the men serving in etc etc. Even if you o feel this way, most military guys I know find that a bit...off-putting as a prelude to a pick-up line.

It may be easier if you live in a city. I know that in my area, if one wanted to be in the presence of firefighters/cops, pubs near the houses are good places to look. Plus if you arent already, get in touch with the gay communities in your area. You would be surprised about how large and diverse the networks are. There may be something like FireFLAG in your area.

Yeah a lot of marines and sailors go to Rage in West Hollywood. When I was at Camp Pendletion, we went almost every weekend, and now that I am up in 29, I take my friends their sometimes when we can get to LA.

Get some guts, dress cool, grow some stubble, or paint it on your face along with that Spartan air brush muscle look, and catch a flight to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Try it on the beginning of the month when cash is king, the dives are popping. The bad news is most military men I believe like dating other military men, so perhaps you should maybe join yourself and then it will be easy. But of course those are only the guys that I know and most everyone is different.

What do you have to return to these men who will "protect" you? And are you sure you want to be with someone just because you are attracted to their occupation?

I'm in the Air Force. Best bet is you gotta live near a military base, and most military guys aren't out even with DADT repealed so you'd be luckier finding them online on sex sites or craigslist over gay bars or clubs.

Most of the ones you're describing are usually still under the impression that they're straight and don't even consider a relationship with another guy so it would usually just be NSA sex.
