In college, I had a few hook-ups with roommates and none ended in disaster...and there was never much (if any) drinking involved.

I think my 'relationships' with my roommates worked because we were friends and hooking up just seemed to happen as a natural extension of our friendship. Just lucky I guess...

Never worked for me. Everytime a roommate relationship became a sexual relationship, it ended up in disaster, with the roommate leaving.
