It boils down to trust. If he's going to stray and fuck around there's nothing I can do to stop him, but I can sure stop me accepting his behaviour if it's not what I want in my life. I choose what happens in my world, what I will and won't accept.
Regardless of the reasoning behind the act, if I'm in a relationship with someone who cheats, I won't be in one for long.
