You're 18, so maybe you're in college? Try your GLBT center there. It's what I want to do. See what events or clubs they have through them!

I can understand clubs being, umm, more for those looking for sex. At least you've been to one and tried out that environment.

What is with all these 18, 19 year old boys wanting a man. Get your head in those books and put your mind towards college, penis is the last thing you should be worrying about. I would wait a few years.
