I've had difficulty imagining staying faithful to one guy without any side interaction. However, I've seen a lot of people stay focused on one individual, feel fulfilled, not jealous of others, and not need to look elsewhere. They do not do so until they're ready to move on.

My mindset isn't organically like that, and want to know how one can acquire it. What is your romance style? Are you a player, or do you like boyfriends? Is one gorgeous, faithful guy better than variety with great looking guys?

Easy. Because you want to be with one guy.

Whether one or the other is "better" is based on what different people like.

Do we really have to explain love to you?

Think with your big head and not your little head.

It's shocking how many guys have little self-control.

Eh...I was a slut and I loved being a slut and I have been faithful to the guy I have been with for 28 years with zero problem...and I never promised to be faithful... I promised to be honest....it is quite easy and natural for me to be faithful to him.

I think honesty is a lot better than faithfulness anyway. I encourage my partner to fantasize and I also have an open and honest dialogue about sex and fantasy with my partner.

I am not jealous at all if my guy is turned on by other men because it is normal and natural and I think all of that romantic bullshit that has been drilled into all of our heads is just that...bullshit. As with anything else in life...I don't let anyone else define romance for me and I have my own style but it is private and just for him so I will not elaborate.

How shallow are you? "Ugly" people are faithful too. If all you're basing longevity on is looks, you're never going to have any kind of lasting relationships.

Faithful isn't a magic mutant super power. It's a conscious choice. You choose to be, or not to be. It does take some empathy, and thinking of someone other than yourself.

never really been an issue for me. it's not something I have to think about; when I'm in love with someone, I've got no desire to cheat. which isn't to say that I don't enjoy looking, but the idea of acting on it doesn't even enter my brain.

there was only one time I came close to cheating, and it was in a relationship that I knew was already over even if we hadn't formerly broken up yet.

When have entered in a real love affair with ur man.....you will know. Until you feel the real thing people can wander and be unfaithful.

I have been with my honey for 29 + yrs! and I have never thought of anyone else. He is the love of my life and I could not be without him. Fortunately he made great income in real estate, and had me stop working in 2006, we have since then spent 24/7 together.
Travel all the time and love to be with each other. We just got married last Aug 2013 and I love him even more.

So when that love enters ur heart, you will know.

Ltr's are not for everyone, but it was for us.........love conquers all..

You question it because you haven't experienced an attraction that makes you want to be faithful. At least you're honest.

Its amazing how few people actually understand these simple facts.

You keep faithful by not wanting to shag all and sundrie outside your marriage or relationship.

Here this will help

If you know that you don't have a monogamous mind/heart/dick/whatever, why are you trying to force yourself into that mold? If monogamy works for you and your partner, then more power to you. But there are plenty of guys who find, live, and are happy in other forms of relationships (like me!) Find one (or several) of those to date/fuck/love/whatever.

For those who imply that monogamy comes "naturally" or "easy" the moment you *truly* love somebody... just because it's like that for you doesn't mean that it works like that for everybody.

It is known as being in love. When you are in love with a guy you really don't need or want to go around banging other guys on the side, at least I didn't. For me? One guy, one dick, one ass, for 34 yrs. It was easy being faithful. We never even had a discussion of having an open relationship or not. We just didn't need to. How to stay faithful? Keep it in your pants unless you are with him.

In this hyper sexual world we live in this can be difficult---and 20 year olds recently said by the largest margin ever in these polls, they don't see themselves getting married and living happily ever after with one partner----in a recent topic here the question was I am with my partner and love him dearly--but he has become asexual, doesn't want sex---I don't want to leave him because I love him, but I need sex--what should I do? Many said go get laid---so maybe you can be deeply in love and still desire sex with someone else.
