It was a beautiful day here.

All the guests semed to enjoy themselves.

One of the best Thanksgivings for me.

Can't wait to raid the leftovers tomorrow.

How was your day?

Actually pretty good.

I had brocolli caserol, honeyglazed ham, bread, and cookie cake.

VERY GOOD.

it was a great day!

mom, dad, brother and i enjoyed a thanksgiving day buffet as opposed to a home cooked feast. but it was still good. :)

I'm alone for Thanksgiving - sitting here at work. My family went out together and had Thanksgiving dinner. That's fine I guess. I 'd rather be here alone.

Diddn't you post that in the other thread.

Did you really want to spend thanksgiving alone?

Christmas is coming up soon. You can make up for thanksgiving.

It was actually quite nice.

I cooked for my dad, brother and sister-in-law.

We had turkey, my grandfather's hamburger and rice stuffing, mashed potatoes (yes, I did them from scratch), sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, rolls (from Tops in-store bakery), and a nice bottle of Italian red table wine. (and don't anyone tell me I should have served white.....I am the only one in my family who likes white wine).

My brother baked the pumpkin pie, (he followed the recipe on the Libby's can, as my mother always did, and it was perfect), which finished off the meal nicely with my coffee.

Everyone helped me clean up, and they left around 7:00. My sister-in-law is planning to be out there at 4:00 AM when the stores open for Black Friday, (not me...hehehe!) :D

I relaxed this evening watching Home Alone (one of my all-time favorite movies) because Ugly Betty wasn't on tonight. At 10:00, I started to watch Legally Blonde, until the 11:00 news started. I'm going back to the movie after the news.

Decided to have some left overs.

IT'S STILL good.

SHIT. Sneezing and coughing when chewing food is not fun T_T"

But yeah. Love the brocolli casserol and ham. Although I miss the bread :(

Well---I posted in a couple of threads that I would be alone. I looked up a local gay outreach center and saw that they were having a Thanksgiving Day get together...and I went (was scared as hell) I went in a little early and helped do a bit of the set-up(cut up all the pies and sweets---can't get away from it I guess) and the director came and talked to me(told me how cute I was:D) and made sure that I was mingling. I stayed and helped with the clean up and then was drafted into stuffing envelopes and getting a huge amount of donation requests ready for Friday's mail. It was very nice---I met a very wide array of people of various ages and backgrounds. Guess it was better than just having my frozen turkey tv dinner alone and JUBbing the whole day away.

Did he really say you were cute alley :O

That sounds like a great way to spend thanksgiving. Maybe you couldn't eat dinner with family or friends. But you got a chance to help out people ya don't even know and making their thanksgiving great and ultimately making yours one to remember.

I bet. I would have been scared as hell too. But damn Alley. It sounds like ya had a great time. Who knows. Maybe someone will remember what you did and it will come back later on down the road.

Mine wasn't too bad. Usually we head over to a relative's home and bring food and cook stuff, but I think there was some drama amongst some of them so we ended up just staying home. But the food my parents made was really delicious! I wanted to make some cream of spinach soup but my friend never called me back to tell me the modifications he made to it so I didn't make it

(((Trans.... Alley,.....Stacy.... gdude...)))

MAJOR hugz to ALL of you....

Me, the 'gay guy' seems to get left out of all the Thanksgiving celebrations....

And I thank you ALL for being there....

My god we did the exact same thing...the only thing that is different is who was there

Huh. What did we do?

Well I'm a bit confused but I never pass up a hug. Hugs back Joshua :D

(*8*)

Aw I'm sorry wavesmasher. I really wanted to do thanksgiving dinner but I couldn't this year. But at least I get to do christmas dinner. And I know what it's like when friends say they'll do one thing or confirm something and never get back with you. It's a pain T_T"

Haha it's okay stacy. I'm sure that other person also overdid on thanksgiving dinner. Something like that is understandable. I ate more then normal too.

Good juicy ham :D

<---BTW....

THAT was my 'SimbaCAt' !!

Wasn't he amazing ?

Such an awesome cat......

I did a bit of crying when no one was around---it was a lot to take in once. Men and women there with their partners, mothers and fathers there to support their kids--I felt very alone for a while until I started to get something to do.

And a few people told me I's cute, btw--
