Josh, you are the sweetest guy--
I am going to volunteer again-----it will be nice to meet some of the local gay community, I have been wanting to get involved and do a little bit more with my free time.

Glad it went well for most of you, and those of you alone made had a decent time.
Mine went incredibly well. Our house was finally clean enough to accept visitors, so my parents and one of my friends came over for dinner. (My friend's girlfriend came only for dessert, as she was eating with her parents in another town.) Pubert planned and cooked the meal, and it was incredible!
* Hot apple soup with bacon and rouquefort (amazing!)
* Apple cider-brined turkey with crabapple jelly glaze
* Mashed potatoes with marscapone cheese and celery root
* Pubert's mother's recipe stuffing (standard, but oh so good)
* Applejack gravy
* Pearl onions in balsamic vinegar
* Broccoli raab with garlic
* Cranberry sauce with vanilla and...something
For dessert - three hours later - apple and pumpkin pies with ice cream and/or vanilla-infused whipped cream. Those were bought at D-Bar.
Tons of leftovers, and everybody demanded some to take home.
While waiting to eat, eating, and recovering from eating, lots of friendly discussion and a few games of Catchphrase thrown in.
I had a great time.

I'll have to put myself with the other people who had a horrible Thanksgiving.
I suddenly came down with a nasty case of the flu on Wednesday, so I was in bed most of the day. I woke up after everyone had gone, heated some food in the microwave, ate and went back to sleep. Fast forward to an hour later; I get out of bed and puke twice in 10 minutes.
Went back to sleep then woke up again to a fit of diaherra! I couldn't sleep after that, so I just stayed up with a migrane. Worst. Day. Ever.
