How well do you get on with your family ?

After a family gathering for Mother's Day I was just thinking how blessed I was to have such a great family ...... the Brady Bunch.

there is some fighting, and quirks, but we love each other!

It's... interesting to say the least. I like my parents and brother well enough. but we're not all that close. when we start to get into extened family.... well, my aunt and i joke that oprah and doctor phil won't even touch our issues.

My immediate family, it's like the Simpsons - My extended family (and there's lots of them) it's a soap opera - oh the drama at the gatherings.

Brady Bunch here. We are a very close family. I'm one of 5 kids. (oldest died last month). We all have our differences, but the parents instilled family values successfully. I have only one sister I haven't come out to, but I'm sure she knows anyway.

Since my Mother was murdered by my sister three years ago; I have no close Real family anymore ...

My family doesn't resemble anything you'd see on TV... we're too boring. I mean, who'd watch a show where everyone gets along with a very low-key familiarity and enmities die out immediately simply because we can't be bothered to fight? We can't even bother to disagree with each-other... we just sit and talk. Like Meet the Press where the topic is pie.

My mom's family is really close and mellow. We're all artists and teachers. My dad's family is... uncomfortable... lawyers and businessmen.

i consider my circle of friends my family, really.
