here not to to bad.. though i could'nt get out of bed til 8:30ish..

I wasn't planning on shopping, but I had two errands to run, so while were were out, we stopped in to a couple shops to look around. Best Buy had an extremely good (but not insane) crowd. Office Depot was less so, but that's probably not surprising. "Junior wants Post-Its for Christmas again..."

I live in the middle of nowhere. No stores to shop in if I even wanted to shop.

A Walmart janitor was killed @ 5:00 a.m. this morning as the mob crushed him to the floor. And two people at Toys "R" Us were shot to death!

I did shop on line and got two pairs os N2N swim trunks on clearance. Originally $30 each, now $10 each!

That was the extent of my Black Friday shopping!

Oh, and we got 7 inches of snow today so I had to dig myself and my car out!

I went to Wal-mart earlier today to get some Christmas lights and there were a lot of people there, but it seemed to be really well-organized. They actually had a lot of check-out lanes open and the lines were short. I even got a really good parking spot.

We parked at the Tesco's car park in town, and we saw trouble as soon as we entered. All the cars were trying to leave by one exit, whilst nearly every single space had been taken. We were lucky in that two cars decided to move out pf their spaces one after the other, and the car in front of use took one, we took the other.

When we came back to leave, the car jam had increased. It took several minutes before we reversed out. Then it took another several minutes to leave. In all, it would have been around a quarter of an hour between switching on the ignition and leaving. They had a policy of free parking for 2 hours, but if you overstayed, their cameras took the registration plate details for them to forward a £70 fine to your home.

I think we made it out in time.

we did some shopping well after all the early morning stuff was over. getting through the parking lots proved to be rather crazy. there were people driving in the wrong direction, one nut jub in a whale of a cadillac came within inches of my car trying to get to a parking space behind me. nuts!

I did some shopping this morning, mostly at Target and the galleria which was right next to it. Target was packed but it was really organized and ready for the crowd, they had the line snaked around the store to make things more manageable.

Target inside was hell.

Best buy parking lot was hell.

But best buy had a hot daddy inside who I think was checking me out :D

We are going to Michael's soon though.

Hell I just wanna go so I can freaking drive >_>"

^retailers are "in the black"...meaning they are making money.

I still haven't even opened my front door, not even to take out the trash or check the mail. I did buy one present, but I got it online.

Sounds like he had other plans for his black friday shopping ;)

Most people seemed to be shopping with someone else though. I don't think they'd even dare to shop alone with the chaos that there is. But I donno if he was alone or not. But he sure was hot as hell.

You couldn't pay me to go to a store on Black Friday.

Thankfully the last person with whom I still exchanged Christmas presents agreed that, since we don't need a thing, we're doing it just to do it.

Now I don't have to ever go Christmas shopping again.

Much easier to give the money to charities.
