omg.

this morning I spilled a splosh of tea across my office laptop and then watched through the day as it did a HAL 2000.

Some of you may have noticed a certain Je ne sais quoi in a couple of my posts as the keyboard choked up and the expression of thought became a struggle.

Fortunately I had a brand new laptop I bought a few months ago waiting in the wings, so tomorrow, I need to do the thing where my computer guy transfers the whole drive from the dying star to this machine.

Of course, now I have to buy another new computer for my kitchen desk so I am a little irked.

So I have it set up to have a transplant of my existing drive into the new unit.

Now I have to order another one for home. A $2k cup of tea.
