the UK version is like watching season 1 of the US - it just hasn't had enough time to blossom - watch the US versions of seasons 4 or higher and you will understand why the fan base is in the billions -

Having just watched the UK version i vowed never to go there again.

i tried watching a couple of episodes but turned off each time after ten minutes or so as it was unbearable and seemingly pointless. Guys screeching like Banshees is not my idea of entertainment.

It's often extremely lucrative for them and the bases for television shows, internet deals, RuPaul tours, conventions and movie roles. With an established audience and her own history of drag performance already in place, there's no reason that the show, already a giant success, would need to manufacture a fake scandal to generate more views. Agreed. The notoriety the Drag Queens get from this show is huge from them just being on it. Yeah, it's a reality show but it most definitely benefits the Drag Queens on it and purposely throwing that away is absolutely asinine.

I call bullshit on her excuse, there is obviously a bigger much needed push about taking Mental Health Issues seriously in the last few years and it just screams of her trying to take advantage of that. Even if it is a Mental Health issue, doesn't mean someone is completely void of facing consequences.
