Hurricane Watch

Right now the storm is expected to come ashore around West Palm Beach and then turn northward thru the state. I will be taking at least 3 days to clear out of the area and dropping 2 feet of water in the area. The track still has time to change as that is the way nature acts. By coming in the south it will only be a Cat 1 when it hits the Orlando area.

When Hurricane Dorian makes landfall in Florida, current projections show the powerful storm could come ashore during one of the season’s highest tides of the year — a king tide.

Ocean Drive in Miami Beach often floods during a typical King Tide. So with the storm surge on top of it it could be really bad.

Looks like we may be lucky and not be hit by the storm now and our poor friends in the Carolinas will be. Only good thing is they say it will drop to a Cat 2 when it gets there. But until it happens I will believe where it is going.

Lots of hurricanes hit land and pull up it.

It also matters on what forces are at work moving the Jet Stream and the timing of them in relation to the storm's approach.

They now say the storm get closer to the state but still staying off the coast.

As you see one of the models brings it into Central and North Florida.

The eyewall will be going over the Bahamas soon. I hope they evacuated or have some really good shelters.

As of 12:45 est, it now has winds of 185 mph. One of most powerful hurricanes ever!

The bitch Dorian just upped his bitchiness with winds up to 220mph this morning. Is now the most powerful storm to threaten the east coast mainland US.
