Oh wow, I had wondered what happened w/ him, but assumed work was keeping him busy. Thanks for letting me know otherwise.

I'll be praying for Huskerboy and his partner. Both are amazing people!

I look forward to getting to know a cancer survivor around here (*8*)

Get well soon! Hi, I'm Reality :D

Hello everyone, and our deepest heartfelt thank you for all of the prayers, positive thoughts, and best wishes. This has been an incredible journey and I (we) have been blessed in so many ways. We also send out a special hug for Darkflower for being such an awesome and special friend. (*8*) (Love you, Jenn!)

I am still healing from surgery but am doing well. I had my first dose of chemo almost 2 weeks ago and will leave tomorrow to have my second dose this Friday. The biggest side effects are the nausea and my being so tired... but that only lasts for about 5 days and then I start to feel a little better. If this is all I have to deal with, I'll be fortunate. After 6 rounds of chemo over the next 12 weeks, we'll do additional tests to see if the chemo has done it's job. Radiation might be considered for later this summer if all doesn't go as planned... so keep your fingers crossed!

Thank you again for all of your concern and words of encouragement. I am committed to beating this stuff and remain strong - especially knowing that so many of my friends (old and new) here on JUB are pulling for me! I am so blessed to have Shannon by my side as I fight this battle. He's been my rock, and I couldn't imagine a better care-giver, partner and friend. Thank you for lifting us up with your thoughts and prayers! (*8*)

Love to you all,
Husker

Glad you are doing better. Best wishes to you and Shannon. (*8*)

I just finished my chemo...it sucks but it's worth the fight. Attitude is everything! Keep the spirit. Best wishes to both of you.

Thanks for updating us, Husker. I'm glad that things are going OK so far. You sound upbeat and strong, and that'll make a big difference over the length of the journey.

Peace, and strength. (*8*)

Great news! It's good to hear that you're healing well and that you have someone by your side throughout this. Much love back.

*fingers crossed* :)

So glad to hear that you are doing better. Sounds like you have lots of support at home and you certainly have it from here.

It's great to hear you're recovering well and holding up great with the treatments.

I'll be sending positive thoughts and well wishes!

I am praying for you Larry...I knew something was up when I did not hear back from you with the last email I sent you...

Wishing him the best of luck.
