Our stray Sissi still has two expressions. Baleful and doleful.

But there's news.

We do have the lead on her Mummy through her chip and are waiting to see if she contacts the vet because she would have been notified through the registry.

I still think she got pitched out or left behind because people think their housecats will be fine as strya barncats...but we'll see. If we haven't heard in a week, we will let the vet make contact and provide out phone 3 and nothing would thrill us more than if we got the most expensive kitty in out house back to a loving owner.

But I also told her again last night as I bunked in with her in the back part of the second floor that I will very much miss her despite the absolute havoc she has unleashed on our household.

I wouldn’t give her back. They probably dropped her off because she was sick

We have to get her into a different household. She and the other 2 are still violently opposed to sharing the house so have to be separated and our household is literally turned upside down.

And we won't let her go back without strict conditions. Whoever claims her must be able to prove that they can care for her complicated (and costly) hepatobiliary condition and that they will never ever allow her to go outside. Period.

I still suspect her previous owner won't contact the vet.
