Those commercials are great and all... but the best part about canada:

big-rock.jpg

That and equal marriage, #1 ranked city in the world etc etc.

but I guess beer commercials sum it up well...

You know how there are Anglophiles and Francophiles? What's the word for someone who loves everything Canadian? Cause I'm one of those. ;)

Edit: Except for the "zed" thing. I can't get on board with that.

How could anyone forget this?

It's basically become engrained into our pop culture. It will die when Canada does, or worse see the greatest increased ever (depending on circumstances) and see a MAJOR CANADIAN REBELLION.

I love Canada! I plan to move there after my English-teaching excursion to China (still in planning stages).

Guess I better start adding "u" to "color" and "-ed" to the letter "z"! Oh yeah...and trade in my "hola" for "bonjour"!

That's the spirit!

But, you musn't forget to double the consonant to certain words, like travelling... for the penalty of such a dreadful error is death!

Oh, and your paychecks will be no more... they will now be paycheques.:p

^^How foolish of me, how could I forget. Thank you Soil.

Also, you will need to carry around a bucket instead of a wallet... we Canadians have more coinage than the average currency.

And get used to hearing "thank you" instead of "uh huh" or "sure"

trust me.. the bills are a pain in the ass.

Once I moved down to the US, I really missed the loonies and toonies.

I hate the name toonie and I had hoped for the other possible name.. the Bareback.

haha

I think I may just start calling it that.

I don't get this one. What does this have to do with Canadian pride and supposed American ignorance?

perhaps it has something to do with the moose (very Canadian) amongst all those american flags and other american souviners.. just a thought..

and oh.. by the way, someones comment about not being able to handle all the snow.. just exactly how much snow does Chicago, New York, and Buffalo get not to mention how cold it gets int these places too? Seems to me, more than they can handle eh?

Fun Hockey Themed commercial... most likely came out around the olympics or worlds:

Continuation of that co-worker commercial:

Made when the NHL was out for the year:

And when it came back:

My God, I'd forgotten how many commercials Molson actually put out.

EDIT... had to add 2 more:

USA vs Canada... Hockey themed commercial:

Office Glen from Canada:

Aw! You mean there aren't any real lumberjacks anymore??

I'm not sure if I could cope with the snow. Otherwise I'd be movin' up there hopin' to kiss a few Mounties!!

You won't hear that from buffalo peeps. They have had 2, count em two 1 ft dumps of snow a week apart so far this year. Toronto? Zero.(!)

And good luck with the wildfires, mud slides and earthquakes in Caliphone ya.

Ambiguity, those were really good commercials for Canadian Hockey! Thanks for sharing.
