i've never really seen the purpose in creating a thread informing others you are taking off and ~never~ coming back. i mean we all know the creator usually lurks around the thread while it's still active, reading every post and being tempted to reply but can't because THEY'VE MADE IT CLEAR THAT THEY'RE GONE 4EVER~

is it so difficult to leave quietly and not come back? let the users create that thread for you, it makes you look less tacky.

I don't know. Even if you didn't get your thread brought back from the void I didn't think you'd stop posting and at no point did I think you should stop. It was kind of a clunky way to go about getting it back, you made yourself unavailable to explain yourself to the peons.

It was a moment, the moment has passed. If this was about censorship, IMO you missed an opportunity. Now my question is, do I really give a shit? Why was the thread pulled? What was the reason it was brought back? Are there rules and procedures or are they being made up as the situation calls, or both? It's things like this that help me decide if I really want to be here or not. If I want to give these fuckers money or not. I come here to immerse myself in the ideas and opinions of strangers on every topic under the sun, including race relations and racism. If I understand correctly, this thread was about denying me and everyone else that opportunity in the form of one specific thread. But I could be giving out way too much credit...
