Here is problem.

I live away from my family and now a days i am on visit to my home, so i have this laptop of mine and have windows Vista in it, my brother has windows XP in his pc., he has a switch so i plugged in my network wire in that, i kept on surfing Gay sites, thinking its safe to do that as i am doing that on my laptop,But today something shitty happened. He showed me my logs, the sites i have been visiting ,,and even my nude ass pics on flickr which had "Private CredtionalS".

Being Muslim and Pakistani This is what i call being in Hell..

He asked me following Questions.
"Are you a fag"

So you do it for free"

"Since when you changed your orientation"

"Whats your nude pics doing here"

I was petrified and though i am elder than him, i couldn't answer, i simply said that it might have opened while i was visiting porn sites, but my own nude ass pics were the biggest problem. I told him its for my GF.

I know he is aware of me being gay,,,that has raised my BP high again..

Can anyone tell me how to stop him from logging my events, i know the main admin password of his pc

lol, I'm not sure but it's his router me thinks (if it's a switch). His router's firewall logs events. Anyway, WTF, if my brother told me anything I'd beat him up. How can you let a younger brother tell you shit like that....This at the end of the day is just a reflection of a regressed culture.

Sorry this happened to you.

I had a similar thing happen to me this year.

I used my older brother's PC to surf on JUB.

He found the site, came over to my place, and demanded to know who's gay in the family.

I asked him to leave, but he wouldn't, then I threatened to call the police.


It's his computer. You're using his connection when visiting. I'm assuming you have your own place. Use the internet there.

Ok seriously, I don't care that your brother is an Arab to act like a homophobic douche. If i were you i would have pummeled him [or my brother if he did that] into the floor.

Wow. Really sorry to hear that you're going through this. There are few things worse than being outed to your family, especially if your family is not accepting.

I'll leave it to others to offer advice on the computer network issues.

But rest assured that even though it feels like Hell now, this is a kind of blessing in disguise. Once you come out, you never have to worry about being outed again. You won't have to live with all the secrets and lies. Your pressure may be high now, but it will be lower in the long run as a result of this.

You might want to join in the discussions in the Coming Out forum, where I'm sure people have talked about this kind of situation before. One of the questions is will your brother keep this information to himself, or is he threatening to tell other members of the family? What kind of relationship have you had with him up until now? If this information is going to come out one way or the other, would you rather he told them (against your will) or that you told them yourself?

Uhhhhhhh, if he comes out in Pakistan........he will wish he's dead.

He can be jerk sometimes. It's only because he takes being the older male in the family very seriously. Plus, he doesn't share his feelings with others.

It's all good now. We will never sit down and have a one to one talk about my sexuality. I'm glad he's hasn't shunned me from the family.

You can use a different browser. If you download a different browser and then unistall it.

Well before you un-install it delete all cookies then uninstall. But you said you plugged his cord into your laptop.

Do you mean that you plugged your computer into his?

Or just into the wall.

Here is the situation till now

We are only two brothers and he is 2 years younger than me, he is kinda friend, who knows that i smoke and drink.
So a few hour back my BP shooted and i told him to take me to the doctor, he realized how he effected my BP and he stopped talking about that gay thing, but before that he was giving me titles like Fag, Homo, and the kid "Hassan" in the movie kite runner.
yes its like a death penalty to come out infront of your family and society here, and i know my brother won't share it with outsiders but there is no guarantee that he won't talk with mom and dad. He is kinda close to mom and he might let her know, for now i am praying that he doesn't...He has a switch in home to share the broadband connection with my sister who has her own computer, i simply plugged my laptop's network wire in his switch to use internet. and damn being administrator he saw all i did. He is doing his masters in computer and i know that i am no match for him, well still i am having anxiety and loose motions which is result of worrying too much, talked to few friends so that they could calm me down,,though it worked but again i am the one who cannot face his own brother, I am thinking to tell him that i am not gay but curious about gays and visited all those sites out of curiosity,, i deleted my nude pics,,i hate flickr, i thought it will keep them private,,it didn't.

Guys just pray that storm subsides and things get normal again,,
